Commercial Stucco in Winnipeg
Repair, recoating and installation on multi-unit, retail and industrial buildings, scheduled so the work does not shut you down.
Commercial buildings have the same stucco problems as houses, with access, scheduling and occupancy layered on top. Winnipeg Stucco Works takes on commercial stucco work across Winnipeg.
What We Take On
Multi-unit residential is the most common: walk-ups and low-rise blocks where the stucco has aged past the point where patching keeps up. Retail and strip commercial, where a tired frontage is a business problem as much as a building one. Industrial and warehouse buildings, where the requirement is durability rather than appearance.
The work itself is the same trade as on a house. What changes is everything around it.
Scheduling Around an Operating Building
A house is empty during the day. A building is not.
Stucco work is noisy where it is happening, and it needs access to elevations that tenants use to enter, park beside and open windows onto. The practical answer is staging: work one elevation at a time, give notice on access, and keep entrances usable.
None of that is complicated, but it does need to be agreed rather than assumed. We would rather have the conversation at quoting than discover a conflict on the first morning.
Written Scope, Because Someone Else Has to Approve It
A property manager usually cannot approve a verbal quote. They need something that states what is being done, where, in what sequence, and what is excluded, because it has to go to an owner or a board.
So we quote commercial work in writing with the scope spelled out. Access equipment gets broken out separately rather than buried, since scaffold and lift costs are real and owners are entitled to see them.
The Work Itself
Assessment first, as always: sounding elevations to establish how much of the coat is still bonded, because that number determines whether you are looking at stucco repair at scale or a genuine re-stucco. On many commercial buildings the answer is repair plus stucco painting, which gets a tired building looking maintained for a fraction of a re-clad.

Commercial Stucco Questions
Do you work with property managers?
Yes. Managers generally need a written scope they can circulate, a schedule that survives contact with tenants, and someone who communicates when access is required rather than turning up. We quote in writing with the scope spelled out for exactly that reason.
Can work be done without disrupting tenants?
Mostly. Stucco work is noisy and dusty where it is happening, but it can be staged elevation by elevation so only part of a building is affected at a time. Access to windows and entrances is the thing that needs planning, and we would rather plan it with you than negotiate it on the day.
Do you handle large elevations?
Yes, including work requiring lifts or scaffold. Access setup is a real part of the cost on multi-storey buildings and we will break it out in the quote rather than folding it into a single number.
How is commercial pricing different?
Scale changes the arithmetic. Access equipment, staging, and working around occupancy all cost time. On the other hand, large uninterrupted elevations are more efficient than the same square footage broken up across a house. We price the actual building rather than applying a residential rate to it.
